Hello
This is just a short paragraph to let you know that my wonderful husband, Paul, passed away unexpectedly a fortnight ago. I will be away from my blog for a short while, but will come back in the New Year because that is what Paul would have wanted me to do. He championed my writing and was so proud to introduce me as, "This is my wife Angela. She's an author."
I hope you all have a peaceful Christmas.

On reading your blog I was saddened to read of your husband’s recent death. My sincere condolences.
The massacre at Oradour sur Glane took place two days after I was born in the UK, a fact which seemed to heightened my emotions during my first visit to Oradour a few years ago. I don’t think anyone could be offended by your use of the setting.
